Welcome to the East of Eden CSA farm share program! Our CSA season will run from May 1 to October 30 for a total of 27 Saturday pick-ups. By purchasing a farmstead bread CSA you are guaranteed one or more of our freshly baked sourdough loaves every Saturday from May 1 to October 30. That's 27 loaves at $6.50 per loaf for a total of $176. If you want more than one loaf per week, simply choose your quantity here. You choose what flavors of bread you prefer using the option buttons below. If you choose plain loaves only, you get four additional loaves at no charge to make up the difference in price. You choose to receive your extra loaves at any time throughout the season If you've ever been disappointed upon driving out to the farmstand on a Saturday only to find that we are sold out of our freshly baked farmstead sourdough bread, well here is your solution! By purchasing a season's worth of bread you get the peace of mind that your supply will never run out! Also note, as a CSA member you can always purchase any other item in our online farmstand as a one-off and we will gladly add it to your regular Saturday box. (No minimum purchase amount for CSA members). Thank you so much for your interest in the East of Eden CSA. By becoming a CSA member you are helping our farm to grow, joining a vibrant Whatcom County community, and getting the very best of our region's seasonal organic bounty!
Farmstead Sourdough Bread CSA
Pick-up is simple. Your bread loaf(s) will be ready for pick-up by 12 noon every Saturday and placed on our CSA pick-up table located in our roadside farmstand at 4974 Patton Rd Bellingham. If your bread is an add-on to your regular farm share it will be included with your basics and loaded neatly into an East of Eden produce bin. If you have a bread share only, your loaf(s) will be labeled with your name and clearly visible in the pick-up area.
If you are unable to come for pick-up on any given Saturday, you are welcome and encouraged to give your week's share to a friend. Simply give your friend these pick-up instructions and have them look for your name on the box. Alternatively, if you cannot find anyone to pick up your share for you, please email or call us in advance and we can donate it to our local food bank.
