Welcome to the East of Eden CSA farm share program!

By purchasing an East of Eden farm share you are: helping our farm grow, joining a vibrant Whatcom county community, and getting the very best of our region's seasonal organic bounty!  The East of Eden Farm share includes a delicious and diverse produce box carefully prepared for YOU every Saturday, from May 1 through October 20. That's 27 produce boxes throughout the season, hassle free and guaranteed to include our amazing variety of salad mix, fresh veggies, herbs, and much more! The full size produce box will include an average of $35 worth of our farmstand produce per week (at near wholesale prices!) This is enough for four or five family meals per week. We think this is one of the fairest priced, best value organic produce boxes around.

What makes up the price of the farm share?

The half share is based on an average of $35 per week of produce over 27 weeks, for a total of $945. This includes the three essentials (salad mix, salad veggies, cooking veggies) plus rotating speciality items and occasional fruit. Please note, we price our CSA veggies slightly below our farmstand prices (which are already quite reasonable), so overall you can expect to get a bit more produce than you would if you were buying directly from the farmstand shelves. PLEASE NOTE: If you do not wish to pay by credit card, feel free to send us a check in the mail or drop it by the farmstand any time before April 15.

Farm Share is more than Food...East of Eden Welcomes You!

As new farmers, new parents, and relatively new to the region, we (farmers Liza and Sam) are excited to build a diverse and inspiring food+farm community together! We welcome and encourage folks from all walks of life at East of Eden. We think diversity is our strength, both in agro-ecology and culture! We look forward to getting to know each and every one of you and working together to build something bigger than the sum total of its parts!

When you come to pick up on Saturday we invite you to take your time and stay awhile. Enjoy the farm space and maybe even get your hands/feet dirty.  Bring the kids, bring the granparents, bring the buddies, take a stroll through the fields, climb the treehouse, visit the animals (chickens, rabbit, pigs, and hopefully sheep this year), put in 10 minutes of weeding - or not haha!

Of course you're also invited to our events and workshops. East of Eden plans to offer a range of communtiy events this year, including farm dinners, music, fitness, and education classes. Check back here in early April for a full listing.
