Did you ever hesitate to sign up for a CSA because you were worried you may miss some of your pick-ups? Do you want more food on some weeks and less on others? Have you been a member of a traditional CSA and found yourself still buying veggies because you use more of some things and it's a struggle to make use of others? Well then free choice is the choice for you!

 

The free choice CSA functions just as the name suggests--you get the freedom to choose which veggies you want in quantities you'll use. You have the flexibility of getting more veggies some weeks, like when you have friends or family in town and want to cook up a feast, and less or none other weeks if you happen to be out of town or can't make it out to the farm. Simply come shop at the Farm Store and use your gift card when checking out at our digital kiosk. As you purchase, it automatically deducts from your total throughout the season so it's easy to track how much you have left to spend. You can also use your free choice credit on anything in the Farm Store like our farm fresh sauces and salads, locally sourced goods from other small scale artisans, random snacks, drinks and grocery staples and of course locally sourced fish, meats and cheeses.

Why CSA?

Through purchasing a CSA share for the season, you are investing in your local food system, helping us with our up-front expenses like the purchasing of seed and soil amendments when we need it most, and committing to directly connecting with the cycles of the season. We have two share sizes available this year, a single share which will feed 1-2 people, and a family share, intended to feed a larger family. Our Farm Store will be open May1-October 31 from 8am-8pm and you can come shop and use your credit anytime while our doors are open!

You can pay for your CSA online with a credit card, but we would much prefer that you opt for the offline payment and make a check out to East of Eden Farm and mail it to 4968 Patton Rd Bellingham 98226 or Venmo us (@eastofedenfarm  last 4 digits: 2754) and include CSA in the "what's this for" section.

-After we receive your payment, we'll send you your physical CSA card that you will use at our digital kiosk throughout the season. If technology is a barrier for you, please reach out directly and we can troubleshoot with you.
